Cross Keys No Match for FRA
The Flint River Academy (FRA) Wildcats crushed the visiting Cross Keys Phoenix team Friday night in Woodbury rolling to a 48-0 homecoming victory.
The Wildcats scored quick and often.
Senior Ethan Newman, who was also crowned Homecoming King, had a big night scoring three touchdowns.
Senior Brody Arnold got the scoring started for the Wildcats on defense. Arnold picked off a Phoenix pass at the 23-yard line of Cross Keys and raced into the end zone to give the Wildcats an early 7-0 lead.

The Flint River Academy (FRA) Wildcats crushed the visiting Cross Keys Phoenix team Friday night in Woodbury rolling to a 48-0 homecoming victory.
The Wildcats scored quick and often.
Senior Ethan Newman, who was also crowned Homecoming King, had a big night scoring three touchdowns.
Senior Brody Arnold got the scoring started for the Wildcats on defense. Arnold picked off a Phoenix pass at the 23-yard line of Cross Keys and raced into the end zone to give the Wildcats an early 7-0 lead.
On the second possession, Newman was a wrecking ball and proved hard to tackle taking the ball down field and eventually scoring on a 3-yard run and the Wildcats took an early 14-0 lead over Cross Keys.
He gave the Wildcats a 21-0 lead with a 19-yard touchdown run and scored on a 21-yard run to make the score 28-0.
He then found the end zone from 10-yards out to give the Wildcats a commanding 35-0 lead before the game was turned over to the young players.
In stepped Jayden Watts, a junior quarterback. Watts scored two touchdowns. One on a 10-yard run and another of a 27-yard run and the Wildcats rolled to a 48-0 victory.

The Wildcats improved to 4-1 on the season with the win.
This Friday night, the Wildcats will host the King’s Ridge Christian Tigers.
The Tigers will enter the contest with a 4-1 record as well and are coming off a 51-7 victory over Fellowship Christian.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Woodbury.
