WSMC, Nursing Home Win Big

On March 25, 2025, the Warm Springs Medical Center Nursing Home underwent its annual state licensure survey with eight state surveyors arriving on site. Surveyors were on site for a total of three days to review the facility’s compliance in key areas such as Infection Control and Prevention, Quality Measures, Staffing, and Overall Quality of the facility. On May 11, 2025, the Warm Springs Nursing Home received their official letter confirming the facility was in full compliance with Medicare & Medicaid Conditions of Participation. Warm Springs Medical Center Nursing Home has an overall quality star rating of 4 out of 5. The Nursing Home operates under the leadership of Bryan Saylor, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Cynthia Walker, Director of Nurses under the direction of Karen Daniel, Chief Executive Officer.

On May 1, 2025, Warm Springs Medical Center underwent their triennial Joint Commission survey where they were surveyed for compliance with The Joint Commission standards as well as the Medicare Conditions of Participation. The survey included a variety of tracer activities where the hospital was assessed for compliance in Infection Control practices, Quality Patient Care Practices, Interdisciplinary Team Communication and Patient Satisfaction as well as Environment of Care and Life Safety practices. On June 11, 2025, the hospital received their official letter of Accreditation with Deemed Status by The Joint Commission as well as a letter of recommendation to the State Survey Agency noting full compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation.
The Meriwether Healthcare, LLC Board of Directors came out to celebrate both the hospital and nursing home accomplishments. Board members seen in the above photo served all staff with pizza and all the side trimmings for a job well done!
